Welcome Jackson Micah!

Courtney and Erik welcomed Jackson into the world on June 19! Mom and baby are doing well. Karina met us, along with her brood, over at Courtney's for a quick visit.

Cousin Allistair

My cousin, Abbey, had a baby in July. Since they live in the Phillipines, this is the first time we got to meet him. Drew and Allistair had a good time getting to know each other.

Today, we had a playdate with Mackenzie, Faith, and Brian. It's so fun to watch them actually play together. If you look at the last two pictures, you'll see a shot of them from the winter compared to one from today! Time flies!

Our Future Lifeguard?

Considering both of his parents we lifeguards, chances are, Drew might have an interest as well. Initially, he hated the water. He would scream and cry. But now, he's our little fish!

Standing, Sort Of!

Drew has started to pull himself. He has incredible strength for a baby, and I'm not just saying that because he's my son. Here he is pulling himself up for the first time! (and clapping, of course!)

Amanda och Ella Visit

Amanda and Ella are visiting from Sweden. Henrik will arrive later. We had a delicious dinner at the Werling's house in Wheaton. Good news--Amanda and Henrik are expecting again! Their new baby is due near Christmas! Congratulations!

Jenn and Matt's Shower

School is finally out for the summer. Amen! However, I am finding myself very busy. Today we threw a shower for my friend, Jennifer, who I grew up with. We started going to preschool together, have remained friends over the years, and now we live a block away! Jenn and Matt will be married in September.

No More Pictures!

I think Drew is trying to tell me that I take too many pictures of him.

7 Months OId!

Drew is now seven months old. He is sitting up very well and "assuming the postition" to crawl. I'm sure it will be any day now...
