Welcome to our blog! With a somewhat new house and new addition to the family, we hope you enjoy keeping up with our family, regardless of your location!
I was so mad after I took these pictures to find out that the battery was "exhausted" and as a result, took blurry pictures. I still think they're cute, though.
Today, the first of many changes has occurred. We got carpeting in our basement! Going from cold tile to nice, WARM carpeting has been a luxury. Even the dogs love it. Since we have wood floors , we have nowhere for Drew to play on the ground. Now, he enjoys his tummy time and sitting in his boppy. More changes to come later...
All Boys! On the couch in order of age: Drew (3 mo.), Luke (6 mo.), Ethan (12 mo.), and Jakob (18 mo.) Luke belongs to Laura H., Ethan to Jen, and Jakob to Laura W.
After enjoying a delicious dinner at Tre Kroner, Heather and Steve stopped at our house for some cake. Ok, and maybe a little wine, too. Good times were had by all.
Recently, Drew has been showing off! He has started to discover his feet! He will look at them and attempt to grab at them. However, he is still learning that his hands are really his, but he is trying to "grab" at things. Another trick he pulled out last night is holding his own bottle! Wow!
Sarah, Maggie and Greta came over for brunch! Maggie was visiting from Seattle and she had not met Drew. Greta had fun sharing the toys and sitting in Drew's bouncy seat. Good to see you, Maggie!
Recently, I have been cooped up in the house, which tends to make one a little crazy. But, today I had the opportunity to meet some of the women that I work with for lunch. Drew was a very well behaved little boy. Not one tear was shed (at least not until we got the car!).
Today was Grandpa's birthday. I won't say how old he is, but you'd never know it by looking at him! He spent the day doing things he loves, like looking at cars. Not to buy them, but just to look. We had dinner and pie over at my parents' house. Grandpa got some accessories for his car--how fitting!
