Last Night with David and Amy

On Sunday night we got together with Amy and David one last time before saying goodbye. We played Cranium, which is always interesting with the Nyquist family. We miss you guys already! And no, your face, Uncle David, will not be on the blog for the next 6 months!

Posing

I think we have a future model in our presence.

1 Child + 1 Piece of Cornbread = Lots of Energy

Elsa was such a good girl at dinner...she ate ALL the cornbread mommy gave her. Only after it was too late did mommy discover that sugar was the main ingredient of the cornbread. The pictures say it all. Be sure to look at Elsa's face closely in the photos...

Post Thanksgiving Meal

Since the holiday weekend is all about eating, we feasted once again, this time at the Werling's house. Good food, good friends, and good entertainment by our offspring. Check out the previous posts...

Thanksgiving Part II

For the second part of the day, we headed up for our second course with Grant's family.

Thanksgiving Part I

In the morning, we went for a Thanksgiving walk with Drew and the dogs. Brrr....
Then, we had round one at my parents' house with my cousins. Corrie and Isaac are expecting their first baby in January!
Of course, the pictures are out of order. I still haven't figured out how to change them around...

David and Amy Arrive!

On the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, David and Amy arrived from CA for the weekend. On the way back from the airport, they stopped by to see their nephew and have a bite to eat! Drew loves his aunt and uncle!

Grand Rapids Trip

A couple weeks ago, we made a much-needed trek up to GR to visit some of our very best friends, Paul, Kristen, Jane and Fletcher Moore. Since Kristen's birthday was the week before, Grant and Paul watched the kiddos while K and I had some quality time to ourselves. We had lunch at a great little organic deli, did some shopping, and just caught up on what's going on in our lives. I don't know how, but the guys took the kids to see a movie while we were out. And, I guess the babies actually watched it!
