Halloween!

This year, we met up over at Laura and Brian's house to take pictures before the kids went trick-or-treating. We were so lucky to have such a beautiful day! When we finally did go trick-or-treating, Drew surprised us all--after we rang the doorbell and the man answered the door, he ran right into his house! Daddy had to run in after him. This year we made it to about 5 houses, which is fine with me. We were able to come home, visit a couple neighbors' houses, and then sit outside with pizza to pass out candy and talk with our neighbors.

Fall Festival

Every year in my classroom we have a fall festival. There are crafts, games, and fall themed-snacks. Parents come in to help out and the kids have a great time. Once everything is running smoothly, I have a great time, too.

Pumpkin Carving

This year, Drew helped carve the pumpkins. He didn't hesitate to reach right in and pull out the gunk! Unfortunately, we didn't get any pictures of the final products!

Hot Chocolate

Drew tasted his first hot chocolate today. His expression pretty much sums up the experience.

Fall Fun

Since it was such a nice fall day, we decided to take some time to rake the mountain of leaves in our front yard today. Too bad Drew liked to take the leaves OUT of the bag, instead of put them in.

Drew is Two!

On October 27, Drew turned two! He is definitely a two year old these days. Some of his favorite things to do are: tell me "No, Mommy!", dress and undress himself, climb out of his crib (more on that later), take baths, play with anything car, truck, plane, or train-related, go to Mor Mor and Bapoo's house, eat apples, and give lots of love to his mommy and daddy! We had a little birthday party for him at the Children's Museum. Drew wouldn't leave the train exhibit, which didn't surprise me.

Pumpkin Farm

We took a trip to the pumpkin farm with Leo this year! The boys had a great time! It was so funny to watch them interact. They loved riding in the cars and going on the pony rides. But, talk about a zoo! I mean, literally, there was a zoo there, but I am talking about the hoardes of people! It's almost unbearable. We went on a Sunday afternoon, but apparently, so did the rest of the Chicagoland area. Oh well. It was worth it to see the boys have such a good time.

When the boys were on the car ride, there was a little boy who was not so happy about being there. The series of pictures makes me laugh! Look at the expressions on Leo and Drew's faces! You'll notice that in the last picture, the crying little boy is no longer there! He didn't know what he missed out on!
