Some of Drew's Firsts

Drew had a busy week! Here are some of the things that have kept him busy.

Drew's first trip to the doctor. He grew an inch and gained a pound! Yeah, Drew! So much for my fears of him not getting enough to eat!
Drew's first walk. Despite the fact it was a short walk, it took us almost an hour to get ready to go. Now I know why new moms are always late.

Over the past couple of days, Drew has had a couple of play dates! He hd fun playing with Greta, Maja, Mackenzie, Faith and Brian. Mommy had fun chatting with other adults!

Drew is One Week!

Drew is one week old today! People told me how quickly time would fly, but I didn't really believe it!

We have done more work in our house. Here are a few pictures of what our house looks like now. (Well, not since we came home from the hospital, but you know what I mean!) Check out the before pictures to see the difference!

New Arrival!

I know it's been forever since we last posted, but we now have a good reason to post quite often! Here is the newest addition to our family--Drew Oliver Bramley. Drew arrived on October 27, 2006 @ 11:12 pm. He weighed 7 # 4 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long.
He is an easy going baby, but he likes to be held all the time! That makes sleeping for mommy and daddy kind of hard!
We'll be updating this site regularly with pictures and other news about what's going on with us. Here's some pictures of the first few days of Drew's life.

After Much Delay...

I am so embarassed that it has taken me so long to finally post again. I was all gung-ho about posting regularly and then... life happens. We've been very busy lately. The pictures will speak for themselves. Our newest project is working on the kitchen. We are doing a "mini-makeover" with the help of a friend, Jay Nordstrom, from church. Basically, we wanted something we can live with until the real gut job we can do when we can afford it! The transformations are already amazing after only one day! We had this ancient oven that we ripped out. We tore out the structure it was in and created more counter space. We installed new temporary formica countertops thanks to Home Depot. We are having new appliances delivered from Abt Electronics www.abtelectronics.com . (Thanks, Melissa!) We are having the floors sanded and stained to match the rest of the house. And, we are painting over the wood paneling and cabinets to lighten up the room. Right now, it is still a construction area, but it is beautiful to me!

I will be adding more pics as we progress. I would take some additional pictures of the rest of the things that we have already done, but the house is a mess due to the work we're doing! So, by next Monday, I will have the site updated.
