Lincoln's Birthday

Monday, February 12 was a day off work! I got to stay home with Drew and we had Amy, Laura, Laura, and Erin over for lunch. Laura made Reubens and cupcakes to celebrate Amy's birthday.

A Day Out with Mom and Dad

I'm Growing!

Although Drew doesn't go to the doctor to get weighed for another 2 weeks, it is evident that he is getting bigger! We are constantly going through his closet to weed out things that are too small. He is pretty lean in the body, but has super chubby cheeks! I think he might be tall, but I guess only time will tell.

Superbowl

We went to Mary and Rob's for a very quiet Superbowl party, where Drew watched his first Superbowl. Don't worry Bears, we still love you!

Drew Rolls Over!

After teaching Thursday and Friday, I came home from work ready for a weekend to spend with my baby boy. He must have known mommy was sad about leaving him and missing out on his milestones, because when I put him in his crib for tummytime, he rolled over! Developmentally, I'm not sure if babies typically roll from stomach to back first, or from back to stomach, but he rolled from his tummy to his back. He is getting very good at tummy time, too! He can hold is head up at a 90 degree angle. I think the weight of his noggin helps him roll over--he leans to the side and then the rest of his body follows! Yea Drew!

Mommy's First Day Back to Work

On February 1st, I went back to work. After many tears the day before, I put on a brave face and returned to my classroom. It's hard leaving Drew everyday, but I am enjoying being back at school. I took these in the morning before I left.

I Love My Hands!

Recently, Drew has constanly had his fingers and hands in his mouth! In addition, he drools like crazy, so we are thinking that this is the beginning of him teething! He's also been a little more fussy than normal, like screaming for 1.5 hours in the middle of the night. Lucky us!
