Above and to the left are pictures of the upstairs. For a while, it was used as in-law quarters, so there is a little kitchenette with a really old cast iron sink and stove. When we can afford it, our plans are to turn the "kitchen" into a master bedroom. In addition to a kitchen, there is also a tv room, full bathroom, and a bedroom. And, tons of closet space, which is just what we need!

This is the main floor bathroom...YIKES!!!! It's really bad. We are planning on gutting it before Christmas. We'd like to use subway tile in black and white to try to restore it to its original bungalow look. During our inspection, our inspector, Tony, informed us that our water pipes in the shower/tub were on the outside wall. Apparently, this is bad b/c the pipes have the potential to freeze in this wonderful Chicago weather. Tony was great, and I would highly recommend him to anyone buying a house. He was very thorough and answered any of our questions, even ones that really didn't apply to what we were paying him for.
