Before Drew was born, both mommy and he were taken care of by Deb Johnson Vanoer. Not only is she our doctor, but a friend for many years. When I was in Jr. High, I started babysitting for Deb's kids and did so for almost 10 years! It was wonderful to have her by my side throughout the whole pregnancy, including in the delivery room. Sincdoe Deb is a midwife and I had to have a c-section, she didn't actually deliver Drew, but she did take quite a few pictures of the whole procedure, which I feel so lucky to have. Here are a few from the delivery and one from my doctor's visit today. Just a warning--some of the pictures are a little graphic!
